Guidelines for Uploads

Photos and video

• Have a description of at least a paragraph for every photo
• Photographs with a detailed description will be given priority
• Empasis on centre of interest is key
• Description in english or kiswahili or local terms where appropriate
• The photo or video should be clear though not necessarily high definition
• Featuring Kenyan context
• Should be a user's original work
• We do not edit images for the user as such content that fails our criteria will simply not be published
• We accept most image and video file formats
• Minimal spelling and grammer errors in the description
• Include any information you wish to accompany your publication such as:
  • email or phone contact for business.
  • prices and location for marketing content
  • website and social media links
  • user profile for personal marketing
• Only videos without copyrighted music will be considered
• Preferably no more than 1 minute long and 20Mb video

Text

• Use the text tab to upload text for publishing such as articles and blogs
• Topics should be within our terms and conditions
• If you wish to add images you can send them separately or use the submit form instead
• We recommend text not longer than 300 words 
• Our team will format to improve colour, readability and layout as well as adding links & images
